TED ESTERSOHN
ROOT AND BRANCH
Everybody pays lip service to the blues influence and "unplugged" is just a marketing ploy. Ted Estersohn has been playing down home blues for more than 40 years. While holding on to his deep blues roots, he has also developed a unique jazz guitar style, playing bass, rhythm, and lead simultaneously. He has played with artists such as Washboard Slim (Robert Young), Son House, Bonnie Raitt, Mississippi Fred McDowell [go to the download page for a sample], Mance Lipscomb, Rosalie Sorrels, and John Jackson. |
